Valley Forge Casino wedding | Jackie & Chris

Ever since I met Jackie and Chris I knew they have that strong connection and genuineness that not many couples have. Last year we had a bunch of fun at Longwood Gardens for their engagement session along with their furry baby Gus. And of course, he made an appearance at the wedding as well.

I gotta be honest, I was kinda craving some rain on a wedding day so I can fool around with an umbrella and magic lights, and Jackie and Chris were such troopers.

When it comes to their choice of venue, I don’t think they could’ve done it better. Valley Forge Casino was beautifully decorated and setup for the party that ensued.

Engagement photos at Waterworks | Selena & Connor

Be it a frigid winter morning or a warm summer evening, the area behind the Art Museum of Philadelphia, known to all as the Waterworks, never disappoints. Being a history buff, Connor chose to start their engagement session adventures on a famous little Philly street by the name of Quince st. After fooling around on the cute cobblestone street filled with roses and greenery, we did what all the cool kids do these days, uber to the Waterworks for a beautiful sunset.

World’s Fair Marina wedding | Ankan and Tarana

The archnemesis or any photographer, mother nature, blessed us with a chilly and windy day for Ankan and Tarana’s wedding at World’s Fair Marina in New York. But they were brave enough to venture around and we created some great photos. It helped that we are friends and friends don’t let friends end up with bad photos. 🙂

I absolutely loved both Indian wedding outfits that the lovebirds wore for their reception party. Enjoy a few of my favorites.

Material Culture wedding | Leda and Bill

If you came for the Star Wars references, you will be sorely disappointed. But stay for the photos maybe? ^_^

I always wondered how colorful Material Culture is inside and since Leda and Bill chose to have their wedding reception there, I experienced the venue beautifully decorated and drenched in color. But it was not the venue that made this day unforgettable, but these two sweet, sweet people.

First things first, we captured the reveal on a cute street next to Headhouse Square. And of course, mother nature being as iffy as it is these days pushed us inside where the ceremony and party unfolded. And boy was it a party!

Samantha and Nathan wedding | Versailles Ballroom at the Ramada of Toms River

A Cowboys fan meets his Disney princess, and the love story unfolds.

All kidding aside, as soon as I met Samantha and Nate, I knew they were a perfect match for each other. After having a great time at their beach engagement session at Point Pleasant in New Jersey, this past weekend we got to the serious stuff, such as their vows, sword battles and other regular wedding traditions. (as seen in Lord of the Rings)

Both of them were all smiles throughout the day, lots of happy tears were shed, and the party at Versailles Ballroom at the Ramada Inn was off the hook. What more can you ask for when it comes to your wedding? 🙂

William Penn Inn wedding | Arlene and Jason

William Penn Inn wedding

2018 couldn’t have started any better than a party with these two amazing people. They met at a wedding where Jason was the best man, and now it was their turn to get married.
In the morning, I got to hang around the Marriot hotel while Arlene and her girls were getting done up. And of course, I have to treat you guys to some visuals from the day.
We only had one missing player from the wedding, and that was Marshall, their sweet doggie. But Arlene and Jason made sure he is present in spirit and cardboard form.
Once we arrived at William Penn Inn and photographed the bridal party, we moved to the actual party inside and what a blast that was. Enjoy!

Thank you for the help Ryan!

Barley Sheaf Farm wedding of Natalie and Cliff

Wrapping up our 2017 season on a cold November day with a bang nonetheless. And I can’t say that Natalie and Clif’s wedding didn’t have anything to do with it. Even Arlo was there in spirit and on everyone’s yamakas, dancing the night away. 🙂 If you don’t know who Arlo is, you should head over here and meet him.

This was my second Barley Sheaf Farm wedding, and I’ve yet to go visit the poneys and cover all the cool places around the wedding venue. Let me show some of my favorite photos from this awesome wedding there. #natdigsclif

Arlene and Jason’s engagement at Schuylkill River Trail

The early bird catches the worm they say. Well, this early Philly morning takes the crown for the most fun I’ve had before 8AM. Arlene and Jason had a lot to do with it and their doggie Marshall wasn’t a slacker either. After fooling around the Schuylkill River Trail we headed to Rival Bros where the coffee gods smiled upon us with delicious local brews. As a side note, the coffee that Jason recommended is bangin’, I am actually sipping on it as well speak. 🙂

Lucien’s Manor wedding of Christina and Ruslan

Are you ready to dive deep with me into our Puertorican Armenian fusion wedding at Lucien’s Manor in Berlin, NJ? Ok, hope your seatbelts are strapped in tight because otherwise, Ruslan might not take kindly to you. 🙂

I have met Christina at her sister Jessie’s wedding at City Hall in Philly a few years back and thanks to Jessie I ended up photographing this awesome wedding as well. Let me show you what I’m rambling about.

Jackie, Chris and their doggie Gus fool around Longwood Gardens

No, unfortunately, we couldn’t take the little guy inside the gardens but we had a bit of fun right outside its gates. In Jackie’s words “we’re both pretty big goofballs that haven’t grown up” and “we also got engaged at Longwood Gardens”. I can safely say that was true because we had a bunch of fun inside, including mocking a wooden dinosaur – oh yea we went there.

At one point Chris got “pushed” in the lily pond to re-enact a childhood mishap Jackie was telling me about.

Roton Point Association destination wedding in Stamford, CT

My first time photographing a destination wedding in Stamford did not disappoint. Zahya and Joel made us feel welcomed and more importantly trusted us with their portraits by the rocky seashore. Chester Valley Golf Club wedding | Courtney & Mark

This guy is one happy wedding photographer after partaking in this wonderful Chester Valley Golf Club wedding hosted by Mark and Courtney. A few years back I photographed Courtney’s sister wedding and their wedding set some high standards for this one. Well, I can tell you it was a true cake smashing – table dancing (looking at you Mark) – garter bitting – drinks a flowing – helluva wedding party! Don’t believe the hype? I was there taking tons of photos ↓

Penn Oaks summer wedding | Lauren & Mike

From the moment I met with Lauren and Mike, I knew I wanted to be their photographer for their lovely Penn Oaks summer wedding.

Well it happened, and after having a great engagement session I couldn’t wait for their big day to arrive.

First we fooled around with the guys getting done up, then we had some fun with Lauren and the girls while they were getting ready. After capturing their beautiful church ceremony we came back to the golf club to play a bit with the awesome bridal party, and create a few portraits of our bride and groom.

Later the guys from Jsvevents entertained us with their wicked tunes and the party was ON!

Hotel Monaco Philadelphia Wedding | Yinan and Stephen

Yinan and Stephen hosted a beautiful and modern Hotel Monaco Philadelphia wedding, complimented by a traditional Chinese custom of tea ceremony. After their getting ready in the hotel, we sneaked onto the roof for the first look or as some of you might know it, reveal. When it was time for their portraits, we roamed around the Second Bank of Philadelphia which is a fine example of Greek Revival architecture. These marvels of architecture always make for the best environments and backgrounds for photos, and they represent perfectly that Philadelphian city charm.

Later we were back at the elegant Hotel Monaco (a Kimpton property) where Yinan and Stephen had their ceremony and reception party.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the awesome team that brought all this together. The girls were thankful for their beautiful makeup done by Monica. The amazing Anthony of Be Films made sure nothing will be missed from their story later on. Floral arrangements were brought to you by Carl Alan. And of course, the party wouldn’t have been as much fun if it weren’t for the talented musicians from Philadelphia String Quartet.

Thank you for letting me be part of your special day Yinan and Stephen!

American Swedish Historical Museum wedding | Erin and Kael

This August I was back at one of my favorite places for the American Swedish Historical Museum wedding of Erin and Kael. It turned out to be one of the most laid back weddings. And I wouldn’t have liked it any other way. Below are some of my favorites from their celebration.

Jackie and Ty’s wedding at Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

Have you ever been to a wedding where the body language of the couple is so obvious, that even without words you would understand perfectly all the happiness they’re living and the love that surrounds them? Jackie and Ty’s wedding at Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania was one great example of that. And it only made our job easier, to photograph them having the time of their life. Let me explain in photos below.

Point Pleasant engagement with Samantha and Nathan

Around the year 1500, the area that included the future Point Pleasant was the ceremonial meeting place of the Lenape Native Americans, who called it the “Land of Tall Timber”. In approximately 1665, the first European settlers arrived in the area, mainly fishermen, farmers and boat builders. Samantha and Nathan are neither, but they did get engaged on the beautiful Jenkinson’s Boardwalklanterns and all. Here are a few photos from their eerie Point Pleasant engagement session last week.

Jessica and Jeff’s Spring wedding at Penn Oaks Golf Club

The trend is real people – more and more couples choose Spring and Fall for their weddings in the Delaware Valley. Jessica and Jeff were blessed with one such gorgeous day for their Spring wedding at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester. I always look forward to Carina’s golf cart joyride around the course. I know, I have a speed problem, but more on that later.
