I know I sound like a broken record when I say I get to have fun with the best couples, but it’s true and it merits a mention, or two hundred. Katie and Keith chose a beautiful venue for their fall wedding and they were so joyous from morning preparations all the way into the deep of the reception party. And guests were definitely entertained by a mobile casino room where they could learn the tricks and trades of Blackjack or Roulette. This time I had to show my red allegiance to a fellow football(soccer) fan(although the wrong team) still red flaunting, by some cool night photographs by the famous Penn Oaks tree. #gunnersdontwalkaloneeither 🙂 Oh and there might be some Star Wars fighting going on with the bridal party as well. 😉

A few weeks ago I was getting impatient and couldn’t wait to join Jessica and Ben for their Curtis Arboretum wedding. And boy was I in for a treat! The grounds were stunning, the weather just perfect and the couple was ready to rock as soon as I got there. A picture-perfect wedding!

The long and hot days of summer are dwindling down slowly and September couldn’t have been any kinder to Alexis and John at their Brantwyn Estate wedding. We had a blast basking in the sun for their beautiful outdoor ceremony accompanied by a Scottish bagpiper and later for the bridal party portraits around the grounds of this stunning historic estate that once served as the du Pont family’s home.

To say that Alyssa and David are a genuine couple would be a big understatement. Ever since we’ve met and had their engagement session with the sweet doggie Kent, I was convinced their big day will be a wonderful one. I’ll let the photos speak to that truth. Their Franklin Commons wedding catered by Drexelbrook with beats by Eclipse Entertainers rocked!
I knew from the moment I met Faith and Kevin for their engagement photos, on that chilly January afternoon, that their wedding is gonna be a blast. Fast forward a few months later, my predictions came true and more. And they couldn’t have chosen a better venue for their wedding other than The Palace Catering.
As far as heatwaves go, I’ve had a few this summer but Julie and Steven braved the heat and had a blast on their wedding day.
The morning was sprinkled with Chinese traditions from super fun door games the bridal party setup for Steven to the Tea Ceremony organized by the family. For their creative portraits, we used Cira Green and the grounds around JG Domestic, where the beautiful ceremony and reception took place.
I knew from the getgo that Chelsea and Gio’s wedding will be a super fun one since Chelsea caught the bouquet at Courtney & Mark’s wedding two years back. The chemistry between these two is striking and it showed all throughout the day, from seeing each other for the first time in the morning all the way to the last song of the night. The Union Trust was the host for their stunning wedding ceremony and reception and in my book it remains one of the most beautiful and colorful venues in Philadelphia. I was looking forward to being back at the beautiful Merion of Cinnaminson for Alina and Angelo’s super fun wedding and although the weather wasn’t necessarily on our side, we had a blast with everyone.
The chemistry between these two is unmistakable and that just upped the ante for the photography. I’ll let you judge for yourself.
I met Andrea and Matthew last year after an eventful evening with their uBer driver, and I knew they were super fun and will be great to work with right away. And let me tell you, their wedding reception at Stotesbury Mansion in Rittenhouse Square didn’t disappoint. After strolling through Schuylkill River Park for some candid portraits, we returned to the busy Rittenhouse Square for more fun with the bridal party and close family.
Joanna & Kyle’s Romantic Spring Wedding at Penn Oaks Golf Club
There’s something truly magical about spring weddings. The air is warmer, the trees start to bloom, and everything feels just a little more alive—especially when two people like Joanna and Kyle are saying “I do.”
Their wedding day at Penn Oaks Golf Club was the perfect blend of heartfelt, joyful, and beautifully timeless. Nestled in the rolling hills of West Chester, the venue set the tone with lush green backdrops and a quiet charm that only spring can bring. From the moment we arrived, you could feel the anticipation—gentle, happy, and full of love.
Joanna got ready with her bridesmaids in the bright and airy bridal suite. Laughter echoed through the room as they sipped champagne, helped each other with finishing touches, and hyped Joanna up before her first look. Her dress? An absolute dream—romantic lace, soft details, and a dramatic train that had everyone swooning. Kyle, on the other hand, was cool and collected, looking sharp in a classic navy suit with a boutonniere that matched Joanna’s soft blush and ivory bouquet.
One of our favorite moments was their first look. Tucked away in a quiet garden space on the property, Kyle turned around to see Joanna for the first time and instantly broke into the biggest, most genuine smile. There’s something sacred about those few minutes a couple gets before the ceremony—just them, breathing it all in together.
Their ceremony took place on the outdoor terrace, framed by bright spring florals and the soft rustling of trees in the breeze. Family and friends watched as Joanna and Kyle exchanged vows, tears welled up, and hands were held tightly. The love between these two was palpable—quiet, steady, and beautifully grounded.
Afterwards, we wandered the golf course for portraits during golden hour. That light? Unmatched. Joanna’s veil caught the wind just right, and every photo felt like a little slice of fairytale. These two made our job so easy—just two best friends in love, stealing kisses and laughing in between poses.
The reception kicked off in the ballroom with romantic candlelight, lush greenery, and warm, earthy tones that felt perfectly spring. The dance floor stayed full all night—Joanna’s dad gave the sweetest toast, and Kyle’s mom had the whole room tearing up during their dance. And let’s just say: this crew knew how to party.
Joanna and Kyle, thank you for inviting us into your day and trusting us to capture the love, the laughter, and all the quiet moments in between. Your wedding was the kind of day that reminds us why we do what we do—documenting love in its most honest and beautiful form.
Penn Oaks is one of my favorite venues hands down, and Spring brings it to another level every time. And when you have an awesome couple to work with, the day goes amazingly smooth and you end up with forever fun portraits. Here’s to a lifetime of spring days, spontaneous dances in the kitchen, and slow Sunday mornings together.
Cake smashing.Blue hour romance unveiled.Guess who had a little obsession with Star Wars? 😀
Spring has sprung and with it the lovely engagement sessions. There’s no better time of the year to paint the love of two people than this colorful season. Morris Arboretum was the perfect spot for Nicole and Eric.
I haven’t felt so welcomed at a wedding in a while and that started with Gloria and James’s getting ready at the beautiful Park Chateau wedding venue in East Brunswick, NJ and continuing with the very nice staff of the venue. A combination of great weather, beautiful people and a bit of photography magic, made for a pretty nice recipe for success.
Their ceremony was held on the grounds of the beautifully decorated and nicely illuminated chapel. (props to the venue for building a photography friendly chapel) After fooling around with the bridal party and creating some stunning portraits of our couple we headed inside for the reception party. The rest is history!
It’s not easy flying and going through TSA with photography gear but you do it for friends like Rui and Jeremy any day. They chose Casa Reta as a venue for their wedding ceremony and reception and it was a great one on their part. The food truck and karaoke were nice touches to the already super fun day we had with the couple. But I’ll stop the blabbering and let you enjoy a few favorites from their Florida wedding.
We couldn’t have asked for a more festive and colorful fall wedding to end the season then Gina and Patrick’s at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester.
The day was filled with joy and laughter all throughout the getting ready and ceremony, and when we got back to their party, guess who tried to crash it? The one and only Phillie Phanatic! And yes, he did cover my camera with his generous nose at one point.
Fall engagement photos are in high demand in October and November, and for good reason. Mother nature throws a lot of color at us during these months and most of our couples schedule their sessions to try and take advantage of it. The Waterworks, as you might know already, is one of my favorite locations and poses a ton of opportunities for engagement or portrait photos.
This was one of the most anticipated weddings I had the pleasure of photographing this fall. And what a superb fall day it was at the picturesque Pen Ryn Estate!
First look is always an emotional moment before the ceremony Gillian coming down the aisle Thank you for all the help Ryan!
Race Street Pier Engagement photos are best served with a side of puffy clouds and blue dusk light over the Delaware River. Jessica and Jack made it a breeze and had fun all the way until the light abandoned us on the side of Ben Franklin Bridge. Shall we enjoy some?
What does one do on a chilly October morning you ask? Engagement photos of course!
We even had a special furry appearance for a few photos, in the shape of cute Luna, Chelsea and Gio’s doggie. And we had a great time perusing through Evansburg State Park.
This is another one of those “in the family couples”, and if their friend’s weddings that I photographed throughout the years, were an indicator of how high the party meter is gonna go, the bar is set very high!
Although we only agree on the color red when it comes to football (soccer for you american fans), we enjoyed fooling around Bellevue State Park in Wilmington for Katie and Keith’s engagement photos. This after the obligatory portraits with their sweet doggies, of course.
The three of us have a passion for a specific red football team in England by the name of Liverpool, but the true love resides between Selena and Connor, and it showed all throughout their engagement session and wedding. We captured their love story at the beautiful Aldie Mansion in Doylestown from getting ready to the ceremony and the reception, and it was a blast!
