Another amazing day for a second engagement session with Phil and Alexandra. Yes they love me that much :). This time we chose the Horticultural Center and the gorgeous surroundings and we made some great photos. Enjoy!
These two love birds are after my own heart! I always ask my clients to try to think of something either special or unique for their engagement shoots and these guys really delivered. They live very close to the Phoenixville Foundry so it made sense to use the beautiful grounds for their engagement photos. Can’t wait for the big day guys!

It was a day filled with laughter and this Wayne Art Center wedding
made it a special one for them with the beautiful art all around and the great atmosphere surrounding the place. Sarah and Soroush are one of the sweetest couples I photographed so far. And we even had a special guest appearance by the fire department due to a smoke alarm going off, see photos below. 🙂
The windy, rainy day didn’t keep Jen and Tim away from enjoying the beautiful grounds of the Love park in Philadelphia. You already know I’m a man of a few words and many photographs so enjoy!
We had a wonderful day for Randy and Erin’s wedding at the beautiful historic Duportail House. From the long history of the house and decorations to the super fun Irish band and dancers we had a blast! Enjoy the photos!
I’m pretty sure Frankie and Josette got married in the best day of October! They decided to have creatives taken in Rittenhouse Square despite the crowds of people roaming the grounds on such a beautiful day. Then we moved on to the party at Stotesbury Mansion across the street. And it was a blast!
A few words from the Venue’s history, I quote:
“Registered by the Rittenhouse Square Historic District, the Stotesbury Mansion is a historic landmark perfect for hosting your upcoming special event!
Originally a townhouse built in 1897 by architects Cope and Stewardson, the site has been renovated numerous times by a famous English designer, Lord Joseph Duveen, to accommodate and impress the Philadelphia Elite Stotesbury Family’s guests.
Some of the beautiful additions from the initial renovation include a marble entryway, Dolly Madison’s fireplace purchased from the White House, and the fifth floor squash courts. After a second renovation in 1914, the Stotesburys constructed a grand ballroom for .5 million dollars to entertain their affluent guests. They imported a Georgian ballroom that was in the Lord’s manor in England. It took 500 craftsmen over a year to reassemble the ballroom in the townhouse. They imported the crystal Louis XV period chandeliers, the 14th Century Italian marble fireplace, the gold ceiling panels, the Beauvais tapestry that represented abundance hung from the Italian fireplace, and the marble Corinthian columns. The designer’s innovative ideas led to installing an organ and orchestra area also known as the “fiddler’s booth” above the two entrance doors to the ballroom for their private entertainment pleasures. At the entrance to the ballroom, a fountain splashed softly and one could pause for a moment on the small granite benches to enjoy the effect.”
‘Twas a gorgeous day when Kristi and Marc started their own story on the beautiful grounds of Riverview Country Club. We rode golf carts, got rained on with golf balls and had a great time photographing at sunset. But I digress, like one wise man once said, a picture is worth a thousand words – so here’s a dozen for ya’ to keep you busy. 🙂

Phil and Alexandra are the winners of my engagement contest. We shot around the beautiful grounds of the Boat House Row and the Waterworks and we had a great time in spite of the blazing heat. Enjoy the photos.
I met Kim and Mike at her sister’s wedding and a few months later we were meeting for coffee and discussing their plans for the big day. These two are such a sweet couple, it’s infectious! I had the honor to document one of the most important days of their lives and it was nothing short of amazing. The Inn at Lambertville Station made it even easier to create memories. But words are in vain when a picture can tell a million stories, enjoy!

I had the pleasure of photographing Corey and Melissa’s special day for Alex Kaplan Photography and I loved every moment! Here’s a sneak peak!
Evan and Alessia met during their years at La Salle university through a mutual friend at a party. In Alessia’s words “As soon as I saw him at the party and he started talking to me, I knew I would be with him forever. ” And a few years later their dreams came true. She gave us a snippet of their everyday life: “Everyday is quirky, weird, exciting, and insane. Even Mondays :)” The wedding took place at the beautiful Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware and it was the right place for their vintage themed wedding, as the mansion dates from 1800′ and to top it off her engagement ring is from 1922.

“The Haddon Fortnightly is a civic and social club for women and is a member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs. The Fortnightly was organized in 1894 by a group of twelve women who felt a lack of cultural opportunities in this area and decided to establish in Haddonfield a “center for promotion of educational, literary and social interests in the community.” From that small beginning the Haddon Fortnightly has become an organization well known and respected throughout the State of New Jersey.
Today, as in past years, the Haddon Fortnightly members enjoy great friendships while they participate in a host of activities and special interest groups. Most importantly, the club raises money for charities and has a wonderful time doing it. The members work diligently on a variety of projects and make a meaningful contribution to our community.”
There’s a first for everything and for me it was shooting a wedding at Phillies Citizens Bank Park wedding. Congratulations Edwin and Ruth! Thank you again for being so awesome! Oh and guess who showed up at the reception? Hint, he was a fluffy Phanatic :).

Since Mike served in the Navy for about 6 years they decided it’d be fun to have their engagement photos at USS Battleship New Jersey. And fun we had, going up about 6 levels on the ship through its intricate and tight corridors and rooms.
