Not me! But I digress, this was the second time I shot a Swarthmore College Engagement and I find more and more cool places to shoot at. The grounds here are pretty spread out and some hidden from the beaten path, but Patricia and Michael live close by and knew all the best spots.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the photographs!<\/p>\n<p><img height=\"2048\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Here&#8217;s a little more info from\u00a0Swarthmore College&#8217;s website:<\/h4>\n<p>&#8220;Founded in 1864, Swarthmore was one of the earliest coeducational colleges in the United States. The school was organized by a Committee of Quakers from three Hicksite yearly meetings: Baltimore, New York, and Philadelphia. Many of the founders were prominent in the abolitionist and women&#8217;s rights movements and other social concerns and included Edward Parrish, Deborah and Joseph Wharton, Benjamin Hallowell, and James and\u00a0Lucretia Mott.\u00a0Swarthmore was established to be a college, &#8220;&#8230;under the care of Friends, at which an education may be obtained equal to that of the best institutions of learning in our country.&#8221;\u00a0By 1906 Swarthmore dropped its religious affiliation, becoming officially non-sectarian.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525;\">Today, the college is known for a rigorous intellectual character, shaped by a commitment to social responsibility and the legacy of its Quaker heritage.\u00a0Ninety percent of graduates eventually attend graduate or professional school, and over twenty percent of graduates attain a\u00a0Doctor of Philosophy\u00a0degree in their lifetime, rates among the highest of US institutions.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who said that engagements in the winter don&#8217;t look good?
